BCDPC Club Information
The BC Doberman Pinscher Club welcomes new members who own a Doberman Pinscher or are interested in Dobermans. Our club is active in many areas and we welcome interest in our club. We have meetings (conference call) every couple of months.
The purpose of the club is as follows:
To enjoy and improve the Doberman Pinscher breed and to share this enjoyment with others. This will be accomplished by:
a) encouraging and promoting the responsible breeding of purebred Doberman Pinschers and to do everything possible to bring their health and natural working abilities to perfection;
b) promoting the Canadian Kennel Club standard of the breed as the only conformation standard by which the Doberman Pinscher should be judged;
c) educating members and the general public in the unique qualities and abilities of the Doberman Pinscher, and its care and training;
d) conducting a wide range of formal and informal activities that may include: fun matches, training and educational seminars, as well as, CKC
licensed sanction matches, specialty shows, obedience trials, rally trials, tracking trials, herding trials, drafting trials, agility trials, Canine Good
Neighbour Evaluations, exhibitions and boosters, under the rules of the Canadian Kennel Club.
All our members sign a copy of our Code of Ethics.
